University Pieces
If I haven't made it clear enough in my previous posts... I'm very excited to be moving into University halls at the end of next week. This summer has gone so quickly, but I do feel ready to go back into education and start studying something that I love. I'm going to London College of Fashion to study Designer Pattern Cutting, anyone who doesn't know its basically clothes making and construction worked alongside with design; learning how to make a 2D idea into a 3D piece. It's exactly what I want to be doing and I feel very lucky to have been given a place. (Although the thought of having 55 sheets of A3 paper to fill just for the summer work is slightly daunting).
I'm enjoying picking up bits and pieces for my room at halls, above are a few of my favourite picks. I'm not allowed candles in my room instead I opted for a room diffuser from h&m, which smells so fresh and floral. I've gathered all my kitchen pieces from Ikea, all very minimal and white. Lastly a copper lampshade (again Ikea) and an old lamp, I've put the two together as I love the contrasting metals.
Next on my list is to stock up on stationary!

OOTD
Quick post as I'm off out to Ikea for round two uni shop, just a few bits to pick up before I move next week! Wearing my new boots which I've been meaning to post about but uni excitement leaves little times for me to actually focus and get anything done. I have to say they are perfect for everyday use and surprisingly robust!
London & White Cube Gallery
Although there are a lot more lists to write, I have found some lovely places to keep myself busy (for the first month at least).
A favourite of mine being the White Cube Gallery, I had known about the gallery previously but didn't realise there are three of them in London! Hoxton Square gallery is a short walk from where I'll be living, Duke street I could combine with a not-so impromptu shopping trip, and the Bermondsey gallery will have to be visited as well, just to round it up (photo above).
I've found a few cafes, bars and galleries, all in walking distance. The Book Club being at the top of my list, but if you know of any places in the Shoreditch/ Hoxton area please do let me know!
Birthday!
Also I've included a photo of my favourite birthday card. Botticelli, this painting being one of my all time favourite pieces of art. Not entirely sure why as I'm much more of a Renaissance sculpture kinda girl..
//Wishlist: Basics
Not very surprising, I'm lusting after these basics currently! The shoes are last season Zara and I'm kicking myself for not buying them, (not sure if they still have them in stores though?).
Arrived!
Minimal
I love Zara's new way of showing each item, I really like the models they've picked, how its been styled, even hair and make-up!
Since it's my birthday in a couple weeks I've been on the lookout for a birthday present, I'm finding it really difficult to pick something I'd like. Especially after finding these few pieces it's proving ever harder to make a definitive choice!

Zara Coat
I bought this coat at the beginning of summer and it seemed a bit silly posting about it then, but now I've started to see glimpses of a/w fashion more so I've jumped at the chance to put it on here!
It's been nicknamed the London coat by my mumma as it's a city coat and was bought primarily for my move to London (4 weeks!).
