OOTD ft. Back detail

Another outfit post from the other day. Raided Georgias wardrobe before heading over to Camden for the night. I love this top from h&m, the slouchy fabric sits so well and is so comfortable to wear.

OOTD

Another quick OOTD staying with my girl Georgia for a few days, recovering from the heat of Madrid last week. (Post to come still filtering through the hundreds of photos).

I picked up this little shoulder bag while I was there in Stradivarius for only £10. I've been looking for a new small black bag and so happy I found this beaut!

Handmade basics

Coat h&m / top & skirt made by me.

Thought I'd share a couple of my finished pieces so far, I'm a huge lover of minimal and simple shapes when it comes to clothing. I could wear neutrals forever and if I could design, make and wear everything in my wardrobe, I would.
Surely I'm not the only one who often finds themselves picking up items in shops and almost liking it, but there's usually something about it I also hate. Which makes it incredibly hard to shop and buy clothes.
I have no excuse now as a designer pattern cutting student other than to just start from scratch and design and make everything myself. So that's what I've started doing, a personal project over summer which I can enjoy making and then also wear (win win!).

OOTD

Doing some shopping and errands today. Quick ootd and I know these jeans won't stay white for too long. Can't seem to find black jersey in any local fabric shops (really?) so plans for todays dress looks like it'll be made of old wool or denim so far!

Summer Plans

Thought I'd share a few photos i'd taken in the past couple week. Some are on my instagram, (most don't have a place anywhere and are saved for posts like this).
Finishing Uni for the year has given me time to make clothes I can actually wear from a day to day basis. Getting so excited about designs and fabrics, I've started so far with just left over materials I already had. The skirt shown above is something I can wear over summer and wear in 101 different ways, but I do plan on making more interesting pieces.
I'm back working at River Island, really happy to be working again especially at a job i've been doing for years now.
Lots of posts planned too.. will do some on what i've been making if thats of interest to anyone other than myself! as well as an updated room post (when it's finished).

Happy wednesday x
