Birthday Wishlist

It's my birthday in just under a month away (August 19th to be specific!) and there's a few things I've been lusting after for a while now, thought I would share!

1. This is actually a swimsuit by Marysia, but I'm dying to get my hands on this Asos dupe.

2. Monica Vinader 'mini siren bezel' pendant. Being my favourite jewellery brand this £60 pendant is a great keepsake.

3. Diptyque candles are always a must! (and from net-a-porter they come beautifully packaged)

4. ACNE 'canada wool' scarf, wanted this for about a year now.. *heart eye emoji*

5. Asos minimal mesh watch, a smart alternative to my all black watch I wear everyday.

6. Topshop 'raw edge sock boot', I've put these back on the shelf many times as I just couldn't justify another pair of boots but birthdays are special occasions ay?

7. Zara 'contrasting tote, in taupe', this bag is only £19.99 but has all the Mansur Gabriel vibes.

8. Asos culotte jumpsuit, this is THE perfect jumpsuit for me; cami top, wide leg and a simple waist detail.

I love birthday gifts that are pieces that you love but don't need or feel are a waste of money, if that makes any sense? For example a £40 candle has almost no purpose, but opening that net-a-porter box to find a luxury candle is a great feeling! Maybe it sounds spoilt.. but it's something I love to do for other people too, it makes a birthday extra special.

Hope you have a fab week!

Micro Pleats OOTD

Happy Friday! Thought I'd put a quick outfit post up before the weekend! It was the first day all week it's been a little cooler so took full advantage of wearing my very fancy new micro pleated culottes. If you follow me on Instagram I posted a photo of the trousers and top (they came as a set) from Boohoo, for an incredible £20. Click here to see the photo I posted of the full set, I think they look fab worn together or both can be worn separately!

I first saw a pale pink pair of trousers like these in Zara that are beautiful but felt I just wouldn't get my wear out of them (they were only £22 too!) although I'm having second thoughts now after how much I love these in black. I also know there's nude pair in Topshop that are equally as beaut!

If you have visited my blog before you may have picked up on the fact I really don't wear much colour and I don't feel I'm purposely only trying to maintain a monochrome wardrobe, I just don't feel it ever suits me! I'm just not drawn to colours when I'm shopping, only neutrals. Saying this I love colour on other people, a large amount of other bloggers and Instagram accounts I follow have different styles to myself which is something I love.

(I've put in the links below of what's still available online and some alternatives!)

Chiswick Fire Station

Hope you've had a great Sunday, thought i'd share what I got up to this weekend! Saturday morning I drove into London with Matt my boyfriend and headed to Chiswick Fire Station. If you haven't seen it popping up all over Instagram recently it's a Bar & Restaurant with an amazing interior design and atmosphere. The food was delicious and staff we're so friendly, not a cheap lunch out but felt it was worth every penny!
We spent the rest of the day walking round (what felt like the entirety of London) and shopping in Spitalfields before heading home again.

I've also added in some outfit photos I took a few days before hand so decided to combine the two in this post! I'm really loving these heels at the moment, for warmer weather they're a really great substitute for the ankle boots I was wearing in the past colder months.
This outfit is all from Misguided, I'm a huge fan of minimal and simple trend lend pieces at the moment so this outfit is ticking all the right boxes for me!

Jeans* (currently £12!!)

Brighton OOTD

I've spent the last couple days with my girl Georgia in Brighton. We stayed at myhotel, my second visit and it's a great price for a mini trip like this! I wore one of my fave go-to outfits currently, super simple but all my favourite kind of basics.
I bought this shirt in Zara last summer and I still get so much wear out of it, it's got such a soft touch. These jeans are currently £12 in the sale (!!) they're double ripped but you can't really tell in any of these photos, and also one of the best fitting jeans I own!

We started with a mooch around the shops and a quick lunch. After a change back at the hotel we headed out that night for a few drinks, hardly surprising for us we ended up in Franco Manco at 11pm drinking red wine and eating heart shaped pizza. After a fab nights sleep and checkout we headed to the Flour Pot Bakery for a morning coffee and brunch stop (great outdoor seating for prime dog spotting). This was followed by more shopping (bagged myself a £7.20 Topshop top, will be posting on my Instagram soon!) and then had a stroll down to the Pier.

Brighton is a really great city switch up from my London and Winchester life, fingers crossed i'll be back again soon!
