DIY Pinterest Worthy Candles

Bringing you a super quick and easy DIY idea today! I love a beautiful and simple design on a candle, but these often come with the kind of price tag that makes your skin crawl at the thought of forgetting to blow them out and hours later finding you've accidentally burnt £40 worth of candle.

I have a lot of these simple white candles spread around my room from Tesco, and only £1! They come with a sticker on the front I always peel off. They're a great base to stick on your own design.

What you'll need:
1. Printable sticker paper (I ordered this from amazon, it came with 10 sheets of A4)
2. Any plain candle of choice, here are the style I've used (I'd advise only using candles that come in a glass container, may not be very safe without!)
3. An A4 printer

I've been playing around with my graphics tablet to create the designs on the candles above. I found it so fun putting a page of ideas together, some of the images I just grabbed straight from my Pinterest. There are so many different designs you could make, some of the stickers I'm also going to use on notebooks and stationary, so fancy!
Once I'd put the document together and printed it onto the sticker paper, it just cut them out and stuck them on. They're so easy to make I had to share!

Hope you're having a great week, if you like my posts make sure you're following me on bloglovin. It's so easy just follow the bloglovin button in my side bar, it's much easier to see everything I post first!)

P.s Does anyone know if I can order basic candles like these with more fragrant scents? I'm preferably after either Fig/Jasmine/Sandlewood, so then these labels are a bit more apt!

Pound Hill OOTD

I spent my Saturday in Hinton Ampner with my boyfriend and dog, it's a beautiful stately home and gardens (although it states 'dog friendly' there's only a very small section of the grounds that allow dogs) so we did a lot sneaking behind hedges with my big black labrador so we could explore a little better.

It's also the first time I've worn shorts out all summer! I ordered these denim shorts from Boohoo last week and I'm really pleased! They're long enough so your bum isn't hanging out the back, fit well and only £15! Although I normally live in trousers, (I am that person wearing jeans in 25° weather) I felt pretty comfortable after I smartened them up with sliders and my trusty cross body bag!

As always I've linked what I'm wearing below and found some alternatives to anything not available. If you'd like keep up with my latest posts you can always follow me on Bloglovin, I've been using it a lot more recently to read my favourite blogs and it's fab.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

Ego Soleil Launch

Hoping to introduce you to a new brand today, I've recently discovered Ego Soleil myself and they're launching with their SS17 collection on August 11th (tomorrow!) which I'm so excited for!

Ego Soleil are a contemporary NYC womenswear brand, they use really sleek minimal styles and silhouettes with pops of bold colours. I've included some of my favourite pieces to show you from the new Lookbook above and a BTS shot too! (That rail looks so dreamy, I'm really loving the dark plum and pink tones for spring). If you like to keep in the know with brands like I do, this is definitely a name to remember.

You can have a look for yourself at egosoleil.com or follow them on Instagram @egosoleil, as they're launching tomorrow it's a great way to see their updates first!
