A Bloggers Guide to Winchester

Although I don't hail from Winchester I've spent many years now living here in-between my time in London. I thought it was about time I shared some of my favourite things to do and places to visit.

So firstly you'll want to check out the high street, there's a White Company, Space NK, Jigsaw, to name some of my favourites! If shopping isn't what you're after, the town has lots to explore. Head down a side street and there are so many pretty roads and beautiful houses to spot.

If you caught my previous post I paid my first visit to Rawberry last week. It's so great, I love the food and the interior. I had a charcoal latte today (!!) tasted amazing, I highly recommend.
It's great for a healthy lunch or just a coffee/smoothie!

My all time favourite shop in Winchester, I take everyone and anyone here. I get most excited about the homeware bits, books and beauty ranges. Always the best displays, you'll end up leaving with things you didn't even know you needed but now can't live without.
So this part is probably only going to be interesting to blogging gals like myself. Winchester is such a pretty town there is an abundance of places to grab outfit photos, I took mine today on Parchment Street, can't beat a classic white wall haha (it's also quiet enough that I'm not in everyones way!).

For lunch, my favourite is Forte Kitchen. it can be easy to miss as it's kind of tucked away but has great food and atmosphere.
Alternatively if it's good weather the BEST thing to do is grab a bunch of your favourite food from M&S (my personal fave) and head over the Cathedral or Abbey grounds. If it's sunny & the weekend it'll be busy, but there's always room to sit on the grass and people/ cute dog watching.
Lastly, if you have the time Winchester cinema is the best you'll ever go to. It's small (only 2 screens!) but super fancy. Exposed brick inside, the seats are velvet and roomy, plus show great films (old & new). There's a bar and you can even grab yourself some pre film tapas, what more could you want!

I tried to keep this post condensed but there's so much more I could mention, think i'll follow up with a part 2 at some point! If you have any favourites I haven't mentioned do let me know!

Happy Sunday,
Olivia xx
